Whenever I visit a bet shop, I cant not help but notice these categories of people :
Virtual freaks : These set of people will be seen standing directly in front of the monitor staring curiously at what the outcome of the matches they had earlier predicted will be.
Novices : These set of people will just enter the bet shop without any clue about whats going on around them, they however come in handy as they celebrate with the lucky winners with the hope of having a cut from their winnings and they are also available to console sore losers.
The editors : These set of people will go to the bet shop with the sole aim of editing the bet slip of fellow punters, most of the people in this category have no money to stake, they are just there to serve as guardian angel to potential winners.
Flash gang : These set of people rarely use up to a minute in the bet shop, probably because they are trying to avoid snitches that will report them to their strict parents. They come with their booking number, give the shop attendant, collect their bet slip, pay and leave almost immediately.
The oversabi : These set of people knows virtually everything about whatever it is you want to bet on and they will give you safe tips that will ensure your winning but when they start giving you correct scores, run as fast as your leg can carry you.
